Spring is coming and the trees of Tequila, Jalisco, know it
Spring is about to arrive and with it a beautiful range of trees that adorn the cities of the world.
In Mexico we enjoy a privileged weather that allows the flowering of wonderful trees full of colors and delicious fruits that sweeten our cuisine and our hearts.
Tequila, the beautiful magical town where the most representative Mexican drink is produced, also fills with color in spring. The trees we receive at this time of year are so varied that the landscape that is formed is astounding.
To begin with, we have the “Jacaranda”, which with its violet color is very representative of this season. The beauty of this tree is such that it has been the inspiration for musical compositions.
We also have the Golden Rain tree, a species that doesn’t have too much height, but that has beautiful yellow flowers that are grouped in clusters that hang from its branches. Its beauty is such that we could easily stay observing it for hours.
The “huizache” and the “mezquite” are two other types of trees that inhabit the region and are very beneficial for the soil, as both fertilize it. The “huizache”, with its huge parasol aspect, provides a refreshing sunshade to the area on which its branches extend. On the other hand, the “mezquite” has pods from which seeds are obtained that are an excellent source of protein, so it is common to include them in different dishes and as ingredients for bakery.
As if all this isn’t enough, Tequila can also presume to be the home of a variety of fruit trees. Delights like mangoes, bananas, and avocados can be found in their canopies and they all give an exceptional touch to the fabulous flora of this magical town.
Among all this festival of beautiful colors, aromas and flavors that nature gives us, locates Hotel Villa Tequila, an oasis installed in a wonderful nineteenth-century manor.
There is no better way to enjoy spring in Mexico than being in contact with nature. That’s why Hotel Villa Tequila is the best option to begin experiencing it. Surrounded by the magnificent flora of Tequila, it is the ideal place to pamper yourself, rest and take the most out of spring.
